The industry the last few years has been saturated in what photographers refer to as the "IPS" business model. In Person Sales. There may be profit in this but it's not a system we can wrap our heads around. You pay the session fee and the session happens; sometimes it includes images, sometimes it doesn't. After the session, you're shown all images and you choose your favorites. You pay extra for more than a set number of images, you pay extra for a release saying you can have them printed, then you pay extra for any products or prints you want to receive.
We have one set fee. No hidden charges, no tricky packages, no upselling. The fee that you pay for your session is all that we charge you for your images. With our galleries, you automatically receive all edited photos in a private online gallery, and included with every gallery is the right to print your images as you wish. If you wish to purchase prints, albums, or wall art through us, we of course charge you for those (because the printing companies charge us). BUT, we can also point you in the direction of a quality printing service that won't break your bank.
The reason we work on this model, is because many a time, we have been the Moms who want to be able to document these special moments with our kiddos, our parents, our families; and we want to do it without having to plan months in advance to pay for it, too. We've experienced success and loss, happiness and devastation, and life-changing milestones and at the end of it all, the only thing we have left from these moments are the memories we hope our brains hold onto; and the photographs that remind us it happened. ๐ค
Truth be told, we aren't huge fans of the formal moments, the posing, or the "look here and smile"s. Of course these are an inevitable part of every session. We can't send you off without a photo full of smiles & togetherness. But we love every moment in between, too! You won't just smile; you'll laugh. You'll experience sincerity and comfort. And if you haven't felt like you're among friends, then we haven't done our jobs.
We capture the silly moments, the awkward moments, the Kodakโข moments, and every moment in between.
We're Mommas first, sisters, partners, friends, spouses, daughters and so much more.
These roles are at the heart of what we do, and why we understand how important it is that we can help you to press "pause".
These two crazy kiddos are my everything. I have so many photos of us smiling and posed, but truth be told, the images like this one are my favorite. Their personalities shine through like a spark in the dark of night. My son, always distracted and sweet as can be. My daughter, a firecracker ready to challenge the entire world at any moment. They challenge me to be better, to succeed, and most of all, to take time to slow down and enjoy the little things. I've had a camera in my hand since I was 10 years old. And as long as the people I love roam this beautiful planet; I'll never put it down.

My three girls mean the world to me and they've saved me in every sense of the word. They're strong and stubborn and beautiful inside and out. They're a constant reminder of why I am in love with all things candid. I live for details, adventure, and love.
