BALD BIRDS BREWING COMPANY - Jersey Shore, PA

Bald Birds is an absolutely gorgeous venue tucked right in the heart of Jersey Shore. It's a spacious event hall with a beautiful upstairs hall which provides a romantic, ambient reception space, and ample room for both the bridal party and groomsmen to prepare without running into one another. The ceremony space is well-lit and spacious! The possibilities for photos are endless; it has multiple floors, all different lighting scenarios, a beautiful newly remodeled outdoor deck, and brewing rooms, plus lots of well-landscaped outdoor space. The staff at Bald Birds are some of the most helpful event staff that we've had the pleasure of working with, and we'd recommend this venue to anybody.

WHISPERING OAKS VINEYARD - Sunbury, PA

Whispering Oaks tops our list as well; so much so that I booked my own wedding here! One look at this venue and you'll fall in love. There's nothing that it doesn't have! It's located on a beautiful property overlooking the countryside, and has both indoor and outdoor ceremony space (with plenty of room for all of your loved ones, at that). It has high ceilings, tons of tall windows for lots of natural light, a loft for your use, set up and tear down by the staff, an elegant bridal suite and a speakeasy downstairs for the guys (or cocktail hour). The staff is SO friendly and accommodating and helps you to plan every little detail of your big day.

RUSTY RAIL BREWING COMPANY- Mifflinburg, PA

This venue is enormous! I'm talking thousands of square feet of usable space; a law across the lot, plenty of parking, multiple floors, multiple event rooms, and so much more. The suites! The prep suites convinced me to look into spending a weekend there with my favorites simply to enjoy the setting once more. There are long, well-lit halls that boast a classic elegance and are perfect for gorgeous portraits. The reception hall doubles as the ceremony space and is quickly and efficiently (and without flaw) flipped into the reception of your dreams. All of the staff are amazing at coordinating with one another, as well as talking details and helping the other vendors. And the FOOD. It was by far one of the best meals that we've ever tasted at a wedding. And the venue does it all!

APPLETREE TERRACE - Dallas, PA

Appletree Terrace was never on the list until this past weekend, and as soon as we shot there, I thought to myself "I have GOT to remember to favorite this venue!" Appletree Terrace is nestled on a beautiful hillside in Dallas and I'd be lying if I said I don't have my fingers crossed hoping one of our soon-to-be forever clients don't run out and book this place again. Not only is the venue incredibly versatile and spacious, but the staff was kind, helpful and courteous. The catering was to die for and the setup was something that every bride dreams of. We hope to get more photos in this venue up on our website soon, but in the meantime, reach out to them! You won't regret it.

During weddings, I believe that of all the vendors, DJs and photographers have to work the closest with one another. We have to coordinate timelines, plan crowd interaction, engage with the guests/party, discuss the same scenarios, and oftentimes we even eat together (picture the odd-kids-out in a crowded cafeteria).

Dan is an amazing DJ with an unmatched talent for setup, lighting, and all things music. He has all 5-star reviews from past clients and we can personally vouch for their worth. Dan is great at bringing both spirit and energy to a wedding, and the amount of smiles on the crowd's face is truly the mark of a great entertainer. He also offers a variety of services that set him apart such as photobooth use, uplighting, and personalized moments for the couple. Brad is the nicest DJ that we have ever worked with, by far. He is kind and inclusive to the couples, families, and guests. He is great at getting the crowd involved during receptions, and has been in the industry long enough to both understand and appreciate how each couple's vision can differ from the next. He is a beautiful person and brings so much soul to each wedding! We can't recommend him enough.
